Words to Live By

There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are messengers of overwhelming grief...and unspeakable love. - Washington Irving

Since Bryant wanted to be cremated, I needed a place to put his urn. I found this cabinet and it was perfect for my living room. I keep a lot of stuff in there that I knew I would never part with… like his keys, cell phone, dog tags, the post-it note that I found after he died on the back of a picture he had sent me. I also put a lot of things in there that people had sent me as gifts, flowers from when he died, petals from his funeral, his military photo albums, his “I Love Me” book.
